Axel Domont competed in the Tour de France for the AG2R La Mondiale team before a cycling accident in 2020 led him to start his winery in the cellar of his friend Nicolas Ferrand (Domaine des Côtes Rousses).
"Chien d'Arrêt" (Pointing Dog) is a tribute to Domont's passion for hunting and his loyal dog.
- Composition: An assembly of approximately 80% Jacquère (aged in amphora) and 20% Altesse (aged in demi-muid barrels).
- Aromas: Dominant notes of citrus (lemon, lime), tree fruits (green pear, apple), and a distinct mineral/stony character.
- Palate: Characterized by "maximum liveliness," salinity, and a fluid, fresh structure.
