Cyprien Arlaud, who has managed Domaine Arlaud for over 20 years, is dedicated to producing wines that reflect the unique characteristics of Burgundy’s diverse terroirs. 

Scritch is Cyprien Arlaud’s playful, contemporary range of organic white wines, crafted to express the essence of Burgundy’s diverse terroirs. The name comes from the sound of chalk on barrels.

Age of the plot: 40 years. Clay-limestone soil. Certified Organic Agriculture by Ecocert.

Hand-picked in 35 kg crates. Alcoholic fermentation for 10 months with temperature control using indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation carried out.

• Nose: Reveals aromas of candied lemon, white peach and acacia flowers, with a subtle minerality reminiscent of the Hautes Côtes terroir.
• Palate: Lively and chiseled, with fine acidity underlining notes of white-fleshed fruit and a hint of citrus. The finish is long and saline, providing perfect balance and a touch of complexity.
