Mordoree is a premier, family-owned winery in the Southern Rhône Valley, France, founded in 1986 by Francis and Christophe Delorme in Tavel. Known for producing high-quality, biodynamic, and organic wines across 60 hectares, the estate is famous for its Tavel rosé, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Lirac appellations, often highlighting the "woodcock" bird on labels.

Manual harvesting, rigorous sorting, and a mix of stainless steel and oak barrel maturation to produce concentrated,, yet refined wines.

Smoky and tarry oak aroma, sour cherry. Juicy attack, mellow but not soft-grained tannins, it builds an ever greater drive as the palate progresses, plus vivid fresh palate fruit, a delicately mineral hue and youthfully compact construction, which will open up with great spiciness with two to three years of bottle ageing. (Falstaff)

Violet and licorice candy lend spice and perfume to this plump, penetrating blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. It's loaded with sun-kissed cherry flavor but shaded by umami notes of mushroom and leather too. Luscious but sleek, this polished wine is marked by fine, feathery tannins. Ready now it should improve through 2026. (Wine Enthusiast)
